Do-it-Together Virtual Workshops

Our live virtual workshops are the next best thing to being there! We teach you about food fermentation, demonstrate a particular food tradition, and then we make it together, all from the comfort of your own kitchen. With multiple angles and views so you can see what we’re making close up, it’s like you’re on a live cooking show! The instructor will inspect your creation to help give you confidence that your ferment will be successful and delicious!

Self-Paced Courses

Self-paced courses are pre-recorded classes which give you the flexibility to learn at your own pace! Course are organized into digestible sections, and come with downloadable course materials such as recipe cards. Access and review the content as much as you want, any time you want. They’re hosted Fermenters Club Academy. We even have a free course so you can test-drive our self-paced classes before you commit!

Hands-On Workshops

Our original workshops, a Fermenters Club® Hands-on workshop is an immersive experience. Each class focuses on a specific fermented food tradition. We teach you about food fermentation, you get to sample various flavors of fermented foods. Then we’ll show you how to make it, and then we all make a batch together. You walk away with new knowledge and appreciation, as well as a jar or bottle to ferment at home! Most classes are offered in the San Diego, California area, but occasionally we hit the road!
