Need some inspiration on how to flavor your homemade kombucha or water kefir?

Tips

  • When adding fresh juice or puree, we recommend 1 ounce (30 ml) per pint (16 ounce, 500ml) of kombucha, about 1:16 ratio of juice to kombucha.
  • Dried herbs and spices vary in strength and volume, but usually 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) per pint of dried herbs is sufficient, or 3-4 fresh sprigs per pint. A little goes a long way when flavoring for a secondary fermentation.

    These all sound great!! I just made a turmeric ginger& honey.
    How can I get the recipe for the Kaluah flavor you listed in the winter list

      Nice! Turmeric and ginger sounds great.

      Just a shot or so (1.5-2 oz) of kahlua per 16 oz of kombucha is all we added!
