I took this class in Carlsbad. So glad to have learned about sourdough and bread. Austin is very good and takes time to explain so we don’t miss a step. We come home with recipes, the dough we started in class to finish off the steps – it was so good, and starter sourdough to feed. I had to go OOS and can’t wait to get back and make a loaf. The little store was great and had a good supply of items and great concepts. Thank you Austin and friends.

I took the class at the North Park location! It was a wonderful experience and Austin is a great instructor. The class gave me the confidence that I can produce a delicious and well made loaf of sourdough bread with a beautiful crumb. We were given some starter which was fantastic. The class is perfect for a beginner!

Excellent class. Nice and small group in a fun location. Very informative and we got to take a loaf home to bake and some starter to continue the experience of sourdough. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in learning about sourdough from an expert. Austin is so lo key and very personable and makes everyone feel at ease.

Terrific, low key, zero pressure class where you not only get to learn about the science and benefits of fermented foods but get to see the start to finish steps of making a gorgeous loaf of sourdough bread. Then Austin walks you through how to combine the ingredients of a perfect loaf of bread, teaches you how to baby it along all the steps until you take it home and bake it in your own oven. Best of all you also get your own starter to keep alive at home and continue to make sourdough creations! Small class in a homey back yard setting. Looking forward to taking my next class with Austin.
